Huachipa is a desert full of dust and sand east of Lima, Peru. A dust that Abel, age 14 who works in a brick factory, breathes in every day. His shift starts at six in the morning, he goes to school in the afternoon. While in the classroom he hides his right hand that is full of calluses and larger than that of other children. His hand throbs; he is a hard worker. Abel is a good student, he is passionate about mathematics. With barely enough time to study he faces his final exam. He needs to pass in order to change his future.
